RACHELLE JEANTY - Originally from Haiti, born in New York, raised in Montreal, and now based in Berlin, this accomplished singer and recording artist brings to us an impressive background.
Renown backvocalist for major Francophone acts such as Véronique Sanson, Eddy Mitchell, Johnny Halliday, and Quebec's legendary Robert Charlebois, Rachelle Jeanty also toured the world with superstar Celine Dion, playing on major stages such as the Madison Square Gardens, The Budokan, Bercy, Wembley Arena and many other great venues.

Nominated at both 2009 and 2010 SOBA Awards as Best Soul/R&B Francophone artist and Francophone Revelation of the year, winner of the Rythme FM famous radio contest ‘’Le plus beau rythme du Quebec’’, chosen as a Revelation by Les Francofolies de Montreal and three time performer at the famous festival, Rachelle Jeanty has earned the respect and admiration of her peers, as well as members of the industry, by the greatness of her talent, her charisma, her extraordinary vocals and her musicality.

After evolving in Paris developing her solo career, this talented singer songwriter went back to Canada to release her debut album D'AME SOUL, a collection of original compositions, qualified by critics as ''an authentic french soul album'', woven by her life experiences, her lessons learned, her inspirations and her constant thirst for inner and world peace.

Rachelle's 2011 self produced recording ''HIGHER GROUND'' is a step further onto this path, where every song was carefully chosen by the artist for its profound, philosophical or spiritual content. Deeply inspired by these powerful classics, Rachelle rearranged most of the music to her style and emotion.

As 2012 brings the artist back to her first love, Jazz, Rachelle finds herself at home, for, despite the versatility of her talent, she is truly a Jazz singer.

Her most recent jazz project ''RJ's Jazz Quartet'' transpires with intensity and reveals the maturity of the singer, as well as of her chosen musicians. Composed of a turkish drummer, a japanese bassist and german pianist and co-arranger, the blazing quartet met at the Heart of Berlin's multi-kulti world, and are soon to succesfully integrate the international Jazz scene.

While giving many soul and gospel concerts in Europe, Rachelle has also been successfully conducting her ''COME AND FEEL THE JOY OF THE SPIRIT'' vocal workshop in Italy, Germany, Austria, France and Morocco.
